So, I realized that I haven’t posted anything in a while and I thought I’d catch everybody up.
I graduated from PUC in June, I am now the proud “owner” of a Bachelor’s degree, Yahoo!! Then I decided to take a year off from school to recover some brain cells and attempt to get back to a normal life before the insanity of the next stage of my life takes over.
At the start of my year off I was content to lay around, sleep in late, watch movies and read books and really accomplish nothing, but after a few months of that I got bored and started looking for a job but I didn’t have any luck, thanks to the hideous state of our economy. In late October I applied to school for next year and began collecting all the necessary pieces of the puzzle. And then the insanity of the holidays kicked in, putting on hold many of my thoughts of anything except for how many things I had to do in a small amount of time. But despite all the running around and feeling overwhelmed it was a good time like the holidays always are with good friends, family and lots of good food.
Then came the new year and I went from having no job and doing absolutely nothing to having three jobs, two of which are paid and one which is a volunteer position and really bearing down on getting everything in line for next year. So that’s pretty much where everything stands as of right now, I’m hoping that in another two weeks I’ll be settled in and back into the swing of having things to do which will be even more likely after Friday. Speaking of Friday wish me luck, I have a really huge test that I’m taking that will seal my fate as far as next year is concerned and I’m a little bit freaking out but I’ve always been a good test taker so I suppose I like my odds. I’ll let y’all know how it went when the results come out in a couple of weeks. I hope y’all enjoy your last full week of January!

P.S. 22 days until pitchers and catchers report for spring training YAY!!!!!
Great update, Megan. Where are you doing your volunteer work? Two jobs, eh? Where are you working and what are your duties? Hopefully the jobs are paying you well.
Good luck on Friday. We will send good thoughts and prayers.
Love ya,
